The Thinking Date

The Thinking Date

This date is for those who have been dating someone and don't feel like you are getting to know them the very well. This is a plain and simple date to get to know someone better. Share your interests, Define your goals, Describe your values and ask each other these ten questions.

1. What color would you never wear and why?

2. If you could make $100,000 a year doing anything for a living, what would you do and why?

3. What was your favorite movie when you were a kid and why?

4. If you were lost and alone in the woods, what would you want to have with you?

5. Are you or will you be a Democrat or a Republican or neither and why?

6. What is your dream vacation?

7. What plays the biggest role in a person's success- education, opportunity, or ambition?

8. Who has been the greatest influence on your life and why?

9. Describe something you wish someone could invent.

10. What do you think about religion?

There are many other questions that you could think up yourself, this could just be a guideline to help you find more thoughtful questions. Have fun with this!

The idea came from the book 101 Creative Dates for Latter-Day Saints, by Lindsey Shumway, pg. 68
