Paper Puppet Party
Remember all those fun craft ideas your teachers in elementary had, well those are still fun. I remember making puppets out of brown papers bags and coloring and decorating them. One of my favorite parts was making the hair with yarn. Go out to the store and get some cheap craft supplies and make paper bag puppets with your date. This is something your date will surely enjoy and remember. You could also put on a little puppet show after. If you have a digital camcorder, tape it and post it on youtube or facebook.
What you need:
Brown paper bags Markers, crayons, paint or other coloring supplies
Yarn or other fun items to make your puppets more animated
A lot of imagination
Estimated cost: 5-10 dollars depending on how creative you want to go with your puppets
